Below is a collection of news stories that I've written for the OU Daily, a student-run newspaper at the University of Oklahoma. The accompanying photos were taken by OU Daily photographers or sent to me by someone pictured. If you're interested in seeing more writing samples, please contact me via my email address.

SLATER SPRINGMAN, THE SOONERS, AND A CELEBRATION OF LIFE
This is a news story I wrote on the OU softball team's tribute to an Oklahoman who had recently recovered from a life-threatening coma. While working on this story, I abandoned my role of recapping the game in order to cover the bigger story — the impact the team was able to make on someone's life. This required ditching the press box and running through all of the stands in the stadium in order to find the individual and his family.
